Background

Built in 1700 by local craftsmen, Appalachian Spring was formerly known as Copland’s Corner. It was a working farmhouse for over 200 years. Fully converted for residential use in the 1950’s, it has now been upgraded and transformed into a well-appointed luxury Bed and Breakfast.

With just 2 double rooms plus a large Annexe Suite and therefore never more than 3 groups of guests at any one time, our emphasis is on providing a small – but perfectly formed – Bed & Breakfast experience.

Ethos

Our ethos is simple; to provide an intimate, luxurious Devonian experience – a true home away from home.

Wherever possible, the breakfast is locally sourced and almost everything is environmentally friendly and hypo-allergenic. The water is solar heated in the summer and some of the electricity used is created by photovoltaic (PV) panels.

Whatever assistance you require, from planning activities to booking restaurants, nothing is too much trouble.
